Posted November 9, 200816 yr comment_5435640 This didn't evolve into a top-tier NJ tag match, but it offered 13 minutes of straight action from four all-time greats, which ain't bad. There was a funny moment early when Mutoh tried a high kick on Maeda and Maeda just looked at him like "Really?" Fujiwara and Fujinami again made me regret that they never had a big-time singles match. And the UWF guys seemed to relish kicking the shit out of Mutoh. Enough fun stuff went on here that I'll throw it on the block.
August 16, 200916 yr comment_5442868 I think I liked this even more then Childs did, I have not been impressed by Mutoh on this set, but he looked great here, hanging with Fujiwara on the mat, going to head up with Maeda, I loved the finish too, Mutoh is taking a big beating all match, and he says "Fuck it" and throws himself and Maeda over the top, and then over the barricade. You got a great sense of him snapping. Cool Fujiwara v. Fujinami shit too. This should make the set.
September 3, 200916 yr comment_5443783 Right after Mutoh tags in, he does a high kick and spins around. Maeda's facial expression was priceless, like "Who the fuck does this kid think he is?" Fujiwara and Mutoh have a really cool section on the mat and I never thought I would type that sentence. Shit, Mutoh and Maeda round2 was pretty awesome as well. In fact, Mutoh is really shining for his team with counters, matwork and taking his beating like a man. I didn;t like the ending nearly as much as Phil as I thought it looked really bad with Mutoh layin on the barriucade and pushing himself to flip over. Still, there was some good shit on here. Not a stone cold lock but fun stuff.
