Bigelow press-slammed Inoki onto his acolytes at ringside to start the match. They carted Inoki off to boos from the crowd but of course, he re-emerged. As seen on the Memphis set, early Bigelow was a truly menacing big man with his combination of power and agility. And Inoki always played a good battered hero because of his connection with the crowd. I liked his attempt to hook an armbar even as Bigelow was tossing him around. I was on the fence about nominating this as I thought the DQ ending came a little too soon. But I'll throw it out for discussion. Maybe their April match will be more decisively excellent.

I love all the extra-curricular shit at the beginning. Inoki getting dumped out of the ring. Returning to the ring and Bam Bam flying out after getting over-excited. WTF!?!?! Inoki with a suprkick attempt. There was some good shit in the first ten minutes but late in the match, it seemed like Bigelow was getting gassed, as the headlocks got longer and longer. Then he takes a super bump over the top and I question my last statement. The head scissors botch looked fucking nasty. I was digging this match but that ending really sucked. There was some cool shit so I I'll give it a mild nomination but the bad ending and extended chinlocks really hurt the flow.
