Posted November 13, 200816 yr comment_5435698 Steel Cage Match: “Hollywood” John Tatum vs. Scott Casey (11/28/85) Missy & Sunshine are also both inside the cage for this match which is an added twist. Tatum takes a pounding here bumping hard for the cage and eating a piledriver but Tatum would fight back and started giving it to Casey as Missy & Sunshine started fighting a little bit. Both men would try to fight their way out of the cage but they wouldk eep each other inside with Tatum having the advantage. Tatum would climb up top trying to get out but Casey pulled him down before he tried to climb out but Missy would pull him down leading to Tatum rolling out of the cage door for the win. Missy & Sunshine of course fought it out afterwards until Kabuki showed up attacking everyone. Kabuki is a wildman here as it takes numerous people to pull him out of there. The match itself had enough in it to warrant a low-end nomination.

I thought the girls did a good job as 2nds. Missy had real good facials, and that cheapshot on Sunshine was great as well. The bout had a ton of heat for a midcard feud.I thought we had a great finish here. The post match was neat. I'll give it a nomination for all the soap opera involved in the bout. The finish put some more steam on Missy. Plus it heated up the Kabuki feud. The aftermath was awesome. Sunshine in tears was a neat touch.
February 19, 201015 yr comment_5447920 This is an escape-rules cage match, which is weird to see outside of the W/WWF/E, and has the valets in the cage with the wrestlers. These are two gimmicks that really don't compliment each other well, and the result was a disappointing match. It's not bad, and I am not the kind of guy who is really down on escape-rules cage matches, but it is obvious that they are totally foreign to Tatum and Casey. They are moving so slowly towards the exit, and not just late in the match when they're tired or after they've been beaten down, but even early on or when they're in control. Both guys struggle with timing when stopping cage escapes, too. It really looks like they just don't get what they're supposed to be doing here, and honestly, I don't know why they're doing it instead of a straight cage match. Not a nomination.
June 2, 201015 yr comment_5451534 John Tatum vs. Scott Casey (Cage Match) - I know this is already in the doubt section but I really like this feud. I think I agree with the premise that the escape the cage stip hurts the match. There was some good stuff in there but they would stop pounding each other so they could attempt an escape. It didn’t help having Sunshine and Missy on the apron the entire time inside the cage. Not bad work but it was just a weird cage match. Kabuki lays Casey out after the match.
