DVD #11

June 10th: Shizuoka

IWGP・B League regular game/Kengo Kimura vs Masa Saito - Really good match. Saito started off dominating Kimura on the mat so Kimura moved to boxing him. After taking a bunch of clean shots, Saito said fuck this and suplexed Kimura to reclaim the advantage. He then worked Kimura's injured knee. Kimura sold the agony well, though he bounced back a little quickly once he returned to offense. Anyway, he did his usual strong comeback, only to miss a knee drop from the top and give Saito the opening he needed to finish him with a leg submission. This was just a well put-together match between a top-tier heel and a second-tier babyface. Nomination.

Antonio Inoki vs Konga The Barbarian - Inoki treated Barbarian like a scrub so their matches never bloomed into much.

June 29th: Korakuen

Tatsumi Fujinami vs The Warlord - Warlord was a stiff.

Keiji Mutoh vs Johnny Smith - Nice showcase for Mutoh. Smith didn't do much.

Masa Saito & Seiji Sakaguchi & Antonio Inoki vs Mike Moore & Badnews Allen & Bam Bam Bigelow - Weird to see Saito and Inoki as pals just a few weeks after their heated title showdown. Bigelow press slammed Inoki to the floor to start the match, but the heels never built any sort of coherent attack. Saito was made to look like the strongest member of his team.
