“Ravishing” Rick Rude vs. Mike Bond (11/1/85)

Squash.

The Grappler (Len Denton) vs. Brian Adias (11/15/85)

Grappler makes his debut and would get the win as Adias jumped off the top rope on Grappler’s knees to get pinned.

Lance Von Erich vs. Killer Brooks (11/28/85)

Lance pretty much squashes Brooks and has to fight off the women before and after the match.

“Handsome Halfbreed” Gino Hernandez vs. Tommy Montana (1/10/86)

Squash and Adams comes out after the match to brawl with Gino.

Then we get the breakup video of the Dynamic Duo and this is extra material.

Bruiser Brody & The Missing Link vs. One Man Gang & “Ravishing” Rick Rude (1/10/86)

What a babyface team there and this starts with a 4-way brawl. Brody would start pounding on Rude who bumps all over the place for Brody. We get a clip and come back to Brody working over Gang before Link comes in where he would continue the onslaught. Pringle would get involved hitting Link in the back so he would chase him around the ring before Rude would toss the Link after he came back in the ring over the top rope for the DQ. Brody would get double-teamed after the match before making his own save.

Mercer interviews Adams at his home in England and talks about his recovery. Extra material.

The Missing Link vs. Buddy Roberts (3/7/86)

Funny seeing Link stare at the autograph hounds and kids with one offering him a pink bunny so he picks up the child before putting her down. The security guy would take the bunny forcing Link to chase after him to get it back. Link would brutalize Roberts with headbutts early on but would miss with one off the top rope allowing Roberts to go on offense. Roberts would get some shots in before going up top and eating a falling slam by Link and Link would continue beating on him until he dropped to the floor. Roberts would walk up the ramp and went back to the locker room for a countout.

Then we get promos from the wrestlers about World Class forming their own rules and leaving the NWA.

“Ravishing” Rick Rude vs. “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich (3/7/86)

Rude’s title isn’t on the line here. Kerry gets the best of Rude early on until Pringle gets in a shot helping Rude get started on offense but Kerry would soon lock in the iron claw until Rude gets in the ropes to break the hold. Rude would lock on a sleeper before we get a clip to the finish with Rude throwing Kerry over the top rope for the DQ. That clip was at the wrong time.

Brickhouse Brown vs. “Mr. Electricity” Steve Regal (3/21/86)

Brick is making his debut and Regal is also a newcomer. This also suffers from a big clip as we get only a couple of minutes of a time limit draw.

“Ravishing” Rick Rude vs. Steve Simpson (3/21/86)

Simpson is also making his debut here and a new teen idol is born. Simpson put up a fight but would get squashed.

Then we get highlights of a Brody/Gordy brawl from Fort Worth and this was awesome. Definite extra.

Texas Tornado Match: The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. The Grappler (Len Denton) & “Hollywood” John Tatum (3/21/86)

The Fants are just passing through Dallas as they jump to the UWF a week later. There is a brawl before the bell rings with the Fants cleaning house while eveyrone is in their entrance attire. The brawl would continue as Sunshine goes after Missy getting french fries and smearing them on here as the heels get distracted with the Grappler getting cradled by Fulton for the win. Very short but fun.

Michael Hayes sends in a taped promo and announced that he got a mangers license and is bringing in someone to take care of business in the Great Kabuki.

Bruiser Brody vs. Michael “PS” Hayes (4/4/86)

Another match that is clipped up on here.

Then we get another World Class special video followed up with a Sunshine/Missy video that is extra material.

Bruiser Brody & The Missing Link vs. Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy & The Great Kabuki (4/18/86)

I gotta give Michael Hayes credit as he comes to the ring wearing attire that he wore 5 years earlier in Georgia. With these four you knew it would be a brawl at the bell and it lived up to the hype as all four men just started beating the crap out of each other. Brody & Gordy maul each other on the floor while Kabuki & Link have their battle in the ring then Brody & Gordy would take it up the ramp. Kabuki puts Link in his nerve hold before he would break free and used his headbutts to punish Kabuki. Link would go after Hayes allowing Kabuki to get ready to go after him but Link would turn around and kept working over Kabuki. Kabuki would gouge Link in the eye though as both men’s paint was wearing off their faces and Marc Lowrance gets on the house mic announcing that Brody & Gordy are brawling on the streets. Kabuki would go back to his nerve hold until Link would fire it up and made a comeback. Hayes would slide the nunchuks to Kabuki who would use them for the DQ. Kabuki would choke Link until Sunshine threw in a chair who would get to it but Kabuki would leave. We really need to put the Brody/Gordy part of this on as an extra.

Gauntlet Match: The Great Kabuki vs. Mark Youngblood (5/4/86)

Kabuki is quite tanned here I mean he has a Tenryu type skin color here. Youngblood got quite a bit of offense but would fall to Kabuki.

Gauntlet Match: The Great Kabuki vs. Jerry Allen (5/4/86)

Jerry Allen is also better known as Jerry Oske. Kabuki again eats some offense but would finish off Allen fairly easily.

Gauntlet Match: The Great Kabuki vs. Steve Simpson (5/4/86)

Simpson gets more offense than the others so far and would get a sunset flip on Kabuki to get the huge upset victory. Simpson then got double-teamed after the match until Chris Adams made the save.

Texas Heavyweight Title: Brian Adias © vs. “Mr. Electricity” Steve Regal (5/4/86)

Another match with a clip in the middle but it was a fairly good match.

World Class World Heavyweight Title: “Ravishing” Rick Rude © vs. Bruiser Brody (5/4/86)

There wasn’t a whole lot going on early in the match until Brody threw Rude to the floor where he would slam him before Rude could post him. Brody would get back in the ring though to make his comeback where he would get a nearfall on Rude after a powerslam. Brody kept the pressure on Rude until he countered a suplex with one of his own for a nearfall as Pringle would try to keep Brody’s foot off the rope which Rick Hazzard would see. Brody would chase Pringle on the floor into the ring where Rude would sneak attack him but Brody would fight him off. Brody would then get pissed and threw Rude over the top rope for the DQ. This was just okay to me and the finish was pretty sloppy.

Lumberjack Elimination Match w/straps for the World Class Six-Man Tag Titles: The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy, Michael “PS” Hayes, & Buddy Roberts) © vs. Steve Simpson, Kerry & Lance Von Erich (5/4/86)

Kevin can’t wrestle due to having his arm in a sling so Simpson steps in his place. Good stuff at the start with Kerry & Gordy with Gordy hitting a cross body block off the top rope but Kerry rolled over for a nearfall followed up with a fun slugfest. Hayes would then take a beating inside and outside the ring with the straps across his back as Fritz was laying in the shots. Birds would recover though and manhandled Simpson before he could tag in Kerry who would clean house on all the Birds but would eat a double clothesline by Gordy & Hayes and was eliminated. Simpson would then get pounded again with Gordy just working him over before Buddy hit an elbow off the top rope to eliminate him leaving Lance alone against Gordy & Buddy. Gordy would continue his awesomeness here beating on Lance and hitting a sweet German Suplex before Lance would recover with a dropkick sending Gordy over the top rope as he was eliminated where he would get strapped. Lance then placed the iron claw on Buddy to get the win. This was pretty fun and I’m throwing it on the block.

Disc 1:

Mike Von Erich press Conference

Kerry, Kevin, Doris, and some doctors talk about how pleased they are that Mike didn't die and that his condition is improving. None of them shill the wrestling, though, so Fritz has to wander in at the end to remind everyone that Mike will return to the ring. Glad he's got his priorities straight. Sleaze extra.

The Grappler (Len Denton) vs. Brian Adias (11/15/85)

There's a clip in here. We're not left with much.

Gary Holder sings "God Bless the USA"

The World Class chaplain had a pretty decent set of pipes, but kinda struggled to keep time with the karaoke tune. Still, probably the best live non-Michael Hayes musical performance on these discs.

Disc 2:

Nothing of note here.

Disc 3:

Bruiser Brody & The Missing Link vs. Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy & The Great Kabuki (4/18/86)

Agreed that the Brody/Gordy stuff is extra material.
