Posted November 29, 200816 yr comment_5436063 The TV version is heavily JIP, so we definitely want to use the Classics. This was a big step up from their New Year's Day match as they packed a ton of crisp action into 13 minutes without really rushing through anything. They did their normal flashy mat routine early. But Dynamite conveyed a greater desire to brutalize Tiger Mask as he landed some really stiff uppercuts and ripped at the mask. Tiger Mask had to come up with increasingly athletic moves just to stave off the aggressive challenger, and that was always the best dynamic for him. Good ending too as they both fought desperately to hit a German that felt like it would be the finisher no matter who got to it first. Nomination. Match appears unclipped on NJ Classics 116
August 13, 200916 yr comment_5442757 I enjoyed this and remember it as one of the matches I first saw Tiger Mask in about ten years ago. I think I was disappointed that the mask ripping didn't lead anywhere or was as vicious as the Kobayashi match but I think Childs covered it nicely. They kept the stupidity to a minimum, DK bumps like a madman, and the ending was good. Nomination.
September 20, 200916 yr comment_5444307 This was probably my favorite of their matches against each other. This still won't make my top 50, but it should make a set. Really there stuff was clicking well, like this way better then the more famous match
