Posted November 30, 200816 yr comment_5436067 DVD #5 3/5/82 Dick Murdoch vs. Seiji Sakaguchi - Good and rough but real short. Fujinami vs. Tony Atlas - Atlas was really strong and had a nice standing dropkick. Uhm ... that's about it. Inoki/Killer Khan vs. Masked Superstar/Don Muraco - Superstar and Muraco made a solid power-based heel team. They spent most of the match beating on Khan. Nothing too noteworthy, and I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that '82 might've been one of NJ's weaker years in the ring. 3/12/82 Tiger Mask vs. Blackman - Decent. The mat sections got a little aimless, and Blackman sold a blatantly blown kick by Sayama. This certainly isn't the Tiger Mask match that's going to push its way onto the set. Hulk Hogan vs. Fujinami - Good match in which each guy did about what you'd expect. Hogan displayed his expanded-for-NJ moveset, and Fujinami kept him at bay with a hit-and-run attack before succumbing to the lariat. No vote as Hogan delivered plenty of better performances that have already been nominated. Inoki vs. Killer Khan - I've never liked the match-up, and this was another sluggish chapter.
