Posted December 4, 200816 yr comment_5436202 This stood out from the pack of mid-card tags, because there were real issues between these guys, and they beat the hell out of each other. Kimura took a big asskicking from Bret and Dynamite, and the Dynamite-Sayama stuff was a nice tease for their upcoming singles showdowns. Just an entertaining match that deserves to go on the block.
August 30, 200916 yr comment_5443520 I really hate a tombstone piledriver on the floor as a transition move, but I acknowledge the intensity and the quality of this match. I think people would be into seeing Bret and Dynamite as a tag team, and this did have some good violence.
August 30, 200916 yr comment_5443539 Both teams looked solid early on with Dynamite and Kimura creating the best match-up. Bret Hart losing it and choking Sayama ater getting shown up by every flashy move in the book was a nice touch. I agree with Phil about the piledriver and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The difference from this and the Khan-Fujinmai spot I just watched is that Kimura had to roll TM back in the ring and the Stampede team spent a few minutes on offense before TM regains all of his strength and starts flipping around like nothing ever happened. You hardly ever see that shit in a Yamada match. However, thankfully Kimura tags in and gets his ass beat because he allowed Team Stu to kick his ass nicely and do some good double team stuff. I absolutely love the Hart Bulldogs catching TM in midair and slamming him to the concrete and allowing them to finish off Kimura in the ring. Fuck, I am torn on this match ... really good double teaming by The Canadian Brits, some big time moves, hot babyface action from Kimura... then you have Sayama pissing me off. I'll give it a mid-level nom because this wasn't even close to the MDM tag I watched last night but I agree this would be a crowd pleaser.
