Pretty fun for a match in which the result wasn't really in doubt but not one of your better Dick and Adrian tags. Tiger Mask/Kengo Kimura/Fujinami vs. Bret Hart/Greg Valentine/Dynamite Kid - They worked a simple but effective story around the three falls. The heels essentially gave away a competitive first fall by tossing Kimura into the stands. But they injured his leg in the process, making him an easy mark for Valentine's figure four in the second. They started out trying to destroy his leg further in the third, but Kimura wiggled away. Once Tiger Mask and Fujinami re-entered, they cleaned house with some spectacular moves and won pretty quickly. The third fall went awfully quickly. If they had gone back and forth a little more, I probably would have nominated this. But they choked off the drama. Still an entertaining match. 8/27/82 - Matches also appear on Classics 129 Rusher Kimura/Animal Hamaguchi vs. Yatsu/Sakaguchi - Sakaguchi seemed out for blood in this one, and Yatsu played a decent face in peril. But it didn't build to anything approaching a satisfying conclusion. Tiger Mask/Fujinami vs. Black Tiger/Pete Roberts - This probably doesn't belong on the set, but fuck, I love Pete Roberts. I had never heard of the dude before the NJ project but he was a real pro on the mat, and it was a blast watching him trade holds with Sayama and Fujinami. Tiger Mask and Black Tiger did some fun, flashy matwork as well. I'll toss this on the block, just to see if anyone else gets a kick out of it. Inoki/Hogan vs. Sgt. Slaughter/Ed Leslie - For reasons surpassing understanding, Beefcake worked most of the match for his team.
