I had never heard of the dude before the NJ project but he was a real pro on the mat, and it was a blast watching him trade holds with Sayama and Fujinami. Tiger Mask and Black Tiger did some fun, flashy matwork as well. I'll toss this on the block, just to see if anyone else gets a kick out of it. Appears on NJ TV 8/27/82 and NJ Classics 129
May 24, 200916 yr comment_5439880 I did get a kick out of this, and really like Roberts, we should definitely put a Roberts match on a set, I don't know if we need three and it feels like we should collectively watch all of the Roberts matches and pick the best.
June 12, 200916 yr comment_5440630 Tatsumi Fujinami & Tiger Mask vs. Black Tiger & Pete Roberts - The fluidity of Roberts’ moves is great to watch whether taking a bump or trying to escape a hold. I also thought tiger Mask and Black Tiger were on the top of their game as well. Sayama was landing the kicks with force and nothing seemed like an unnatural movement. Add the clean, but predictable, ending and I want to see this move forward.
