They traded their higher-impact stuff in the build to the finish, producing several nearfalls. Nothing remarkable about it -- just a good, hard wrestling match between two well-matched, outstanding workers. I'll take that any day, so it goes on the block. NJ Classics 131
April 22, 200916 yr comment_5438736 I think I liked this even more then Childs, there were some solid cool shit, I loved Animal's over the top rope bump, and their variation of the keylock deadlift spot ruled too, this should make a set.
June 12, 200916 yr comment_5440632 Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Higo Hamaguchi (WWF International Title) - Damn, Hamaguchi flying over the top rope was pretty great. These guys take it to the mat and this is what Fujinami-Backlund should have been... always struggling, always countering. I love how after Hamaguchi’s deadlift attempt out of an armbar, Fujinami just attacks the arm relentlessly. Great sequence where Hamaguchi kicks Fujianmi out of the ring and keeps knocking him down when he comes in but when he tries a shoulder block, Fujinami flips over him and Hamaguchi goes flying out. The ending was sort of anti-climatic but I loved this match. Nomination.
