Posted December 10, 200816 yr comment_5436340 DVD #25 12/3/82 Inoki/Hogan vs. Fujinami/Sakaguchi - Just a clip. Fujinami vs. El Canek - Nothing too noteworthy. Rene Goulet/Andre the Giant vs. Masked Superstar/Dick Murdoch - Murdoch took some nice bumps to sell Andre's offense. Goulet's role kind of sucked in that he was there to be a punching bag and to take the pin should Andre's team need to lose. Anyway, this match never built into anything much. Killer Khan/Tiger Toguchi vs. Inoki/Hogan - They didn't show the finish so it's hard to rate. 12/10/82 - Match also on Classics 136 Antonio Inoki/Hulk Hogan vs. Killer Khan/Tiger Toguchi - This was surprisingly good as everyone stepped up their efforts for the tag league final. Hogan and Khan both juiced within the first 10 minutes. Inoki did a very nice job selling some strong legwork by Khan and Toguchi. Hogan did a move off the top! He and Inoki hit their big stuff for the climactic win to send the crowd home happy. This wasn't as good as a lot of the main event tags later in the decade, but they made the most they could of it. So I'll give it a low-end nomination.
