Bigelow's escape from the arm breaker was awesome in its simplicity. This is a good big amn/little man match. Overall I liked this and would put it on the block, but we're missing 1/2 the match. 2. Mike Von Erich vs Brian Adias Mike's left shoulder blade looks horrible, and it looks like he doesn't have full motion of it. This was better than I ever thought it would be. 3. Bruiser Brody vs Spike Johnson Blah. 4. Tony Atlas vs Master Gee Meltzer it seems hates Atlas as a worker. This was short. 5. Bruiser Brody vs Grappler This was alright. int: Gary Hart Good promo int: Bruiser Brody A good promo int: Kevin Von Erich int: Kerry + Kevin Von Erich with a painting; Al Madril latter comes out and smashes the painting - Ft Worth Solid angle. - Dutch Mantel video 6. Jeff Jarrett vs Robert Fuller I was disapointed in this. I like both wrestlers, and dig their work. It didn't translate here. int: Brian Lee + Robert Fuller 7. Kerry + Kevin Von Erich vs Iceman Parsons + Brickhouse Brown This was awesome while it lasted. So far Parsons and Brown look like an awesome heel team from what I've seen. Awesome angle with Embry and Py Chu Hi - Red River Jack video Extra material. int: Red River Jack + Dingo Warrior int: Nord the Barbarian; Lance Von Erich comes out and the two brawl 8. Red River Jack vs Jeep Swenson - 2 minute challenge match Nothing bout. int: Bill Mercer at the home of John Tatum + Missy Hyatt Extra material. 9. Kerry Von Erich + Missing Link vs John Tatum + One Man Gang Tatum covering Missy's eyes when Kerry took his robe off was funny. Tatum was awesome as a human pinball here. Tatum smacking himself with the chair was great. This was good, but too short. This was the Tatum show. 10. Bruiser Brody vs Jack Victory (nc)
January 27, 200916 yr comment_5436911 World Class TV Title: Steve Simpson vs. Crusher Yurkov (10/20/86) This was JIP and pretty fun as both men got some time to shine here with some good crowd heat but the fact that we missed quite a bit of the match kills a chance at nomination. Brian Adias vs. Mike Von Erich (10/24/86) Adias makes his return to Dallas with a new look and this starts out scientific but you know how this turns out as Mike chunks Adias to the floor who lands hard so eventually Adias has enough and just destroys Mike then attacks Steve Simpson as he comes in to see what the deal is. This was okay for what it was. Bruiser Brody vs. Spike Johnson (10/24/86) Spike was a big dude but he had no chance. Tony Atlas vs. Master G (George Wells) (12/5/86) Already seen this. Bruiser Brody vs. The Grappler (Len Denton) (12/5/86) Slow and boring pretty much. Then we get promos from Gary Hart & Brody pimping the 12/25/86 match at Reunion. Next is the Von Erich painting smashing promo again. Then we get a Dutch Mantell video from Memphis. Jeff Jarrett vs. Robert Fuller (6/16/89) Jarrett takes some punishment here as Fuller worked pretty rough as he threw some great kicks to all of Jarrett’s body. Jarrett would make a good comeback throwing shots on Fuller but of course Sylvia would get involved with the kendo stick although it backfired as Fuller got hit in the leg instead. Jarrett would capitalize with a dropkick off the top rope to get the win but got his ass kicked after the match by Brian Lee & Fuller. Matt Borne would run out though to make the save. I liked this more than Shoe did but it’s still not a nomination. Robert Fuller & Brian Lee then cut a good promo talking about being the tag champs. Kerry & Kevin Von Erich vs. The Black Birds (Brickhouse Brown & Iceman King Parsons) (6/16/89) Kerry & Kevin teaming up for the first time in quite a while was pretty fun as the Birds were quite the fun heel team. Kerry gets worked over pretty good until Kevin comes in dropkicking everyone like a motherfucker. Harold Harris would run in the ring at this time using his cane for the DQ but Kevin would still hit a cross body block off the top rope on Brick. They handcuff Kerry to the rope but no damage gets done as Kevin gets a steel chair. This was looking great until the DQ finish. Then we get the Red River Jack video which I love that the mask that Jack wears is a Dr. Wagner mask Next is a promo by Red River Jack & Dingo Warrior which is quite the dichotomy. Followed up by more stuff I have seen. Then we get Bill Mercer interviewing Missy Hyatt in the bubble bath and this is a definite extra. The Missing Link & “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich vs. One Man Gang & “Hollywood” John Tatum (2/7/86) Tatum covering Missy’s eyes as Kerry takes off his robe was hilarious and that was the beginning of his greatness here. Tatum bumps and sells like a madman here and actually gets a pin on Kerry after Missy Hyatt interferes. Tatum celebrates like he won the lottery but Bronko Lubich comes down and has the decision reversed making it a DQ win for the faces. Bruiser Brody vs. Jack Victory (2/21/86) No finish shown.
