El Bello Greco/Sergio El Hermoso vs. Yoshiaki Fujiwara/Kengo Kimura 2/3/89

Just a barrel of fun, Fujiwara working comedy spots off the exoticos was just awesome. I loved the way he set up the turnbuckle signature spot. This should make the set.

Naoki Sano/Shiro Koshinaka vs. Hiro Hase/Hiro Saito 2/3/89

Good juniors tag, with a fun heel work by Hase and Saito, still not enough to distinguish this from the pack

Antonio Inoki vs. Rip Morgan 2/3/89

Inoki gave more to Morgan then I was expecting, and this was pretty decent.

Vader/Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Riki Choshu/Tatsumi Fujinami 2/3/89

This was pretty damn great with your brawling monsters against your big stars. Both Vader and Bigelow were bumping big and laying in a beating and we had a super hot crowd. Set worthy stuff.

Italian Stallion/Rip Morgan vs. George Takano/Strong Machine 2/9/89

This was chugging along at mediocre, before it fell into bad

This will make a terrific change-of-pace on the set, which isn't shaping up to have much comedy work. Fujiwara taking a kiss and then selling the potential vomiting is not to be missed. Yes from me.

Naoki Sano/Shiro Koshinaka vs. Hiro Hase/Hiro Saito 2/3/89

This had a chance for a nomination after the early heeling and nasty-looking leg work from Hase and Saito. But it never really kicked into another gear that would've pulled it from the pack of good juniors stuff.

Antonio Inoki vs. Rip Morgan 2/3/89

Inoki showed a little energy early in putting over Morgan's Brody imitation, but it never built into much.

Vader/Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Riki Choshu/Tatsumi Fujinami 2/3/89

Hard to go too wrong with ass-kicking gaijin monsters against two of the biggest native stars in the company. Lots of energy, chaos and brutality made this a very fun brawl and a nomination.

Italian Stallion/Rip Morgan vs. George Takano/Strong Machine 2/9/89

Phil and I were disappointed that it was Rip Morgan instead of Rip Rogers, as the original match list indicated. As he said, it started exactly as mediocre as you might think and then got worse.
