Choshu did a sweet flying headscissors and drilled Inoki with a running powerslam. The ending, a big and surprising moment, looked absolutely brutal. Matches of this length don't usually move forward, but this felt like a big deal and gets an easy nod from me.
April 30, 200916 yr comment_5438953 Yeah this was totally awesome, I loved the Choshu arm scissors lift, and Choshu is really at his best in these crazy all out sprints. I have no problem with a quality short match making a set. If it is good, its good.
August 14, 200916 yr comment_5442775 I didn't get crazy, sprint out of this at all. I kept wondering why Inoki was wasting time with chinlocks and armbars if this wasn't going very long. I have to compare this to something like Vader-Hashimikov and Choshu-Fujiwara which were short but felt like there was more action bell to bell. I mean, fuck, these guys could have just punched each other in the face for 2 minutes and I probably would have nominated it. The match didn't deserve the big time atmosphere that came with it. The lariat to end it was absolutely HUGE though and it is always a blast seeing Inoki getting knocked out. Really hot ending but I wouldn't be upset if this was left off the set. I enjoyed it but I wanted more from this match so I was sort of letdown.
