Posted February 13, 200916 yr comment_5437209 Yet another awesome elimination match. They clipped a little bit out of the middle but it didn't seem like a big loss. Only Hiro Saito's elimination failed to make tape. The best NJ 5x5s used the "toss the guy out of the ring" option to great effect and that was certainly the case here. Fujiwara had some great moments including a nifty counter sequence with SS Machine and a smart elimination. I won't spoil the ending for those who haven't seen it, but it could've come straight off the Memphis set. This could do quite well on my final ballot.
July 15, 200916 yr comment_5441973 Tremendous match, great performances by each of the secondary guys, I loved the Fujiwara elimination on SSM and the Choshu elimination of Kimura, and then you have the finish, which is truly a holy fuck final exchange. This could easily end up in my top 10. BTW the SKY 110 version is complete.
July 15, 200916 yr comment_5441981 This was filmed really weird. filmed really so tight in on the action at times that difficult to tell what going on. Never been a fan of the can't pinm a guy after a double team thing that led to ref refusing to call pin after Strong Machines spike piledriver, and don't get why they didn't use that nasty choke as finisher for Yamada instead of the roll up and there were some meandering parts but fuck yeah the finish run was spectacular and this is a no brainer.
August 14, 200916 yr comment_5442791 Another awesome elimination match. Phil hyped it up last night and told me I had to watch it for homework. Pre-elimination, Team Choshu was killing Fujinami's guys. My only minor gripe is that Yamada was eliminated way too early. I love how Fujinami is left with the two guys who abused him earlier in the match. And that ending.... sweet BLOODY motherfucker. When it was down to the last two guys, that might have been a nomination in and of itself. This was awesome.
