Posted February 14, 200916 yr comment_5437232 I know I sound like a broken record but this was another awesome elimination match from the tournament. Hoshino was great with his spunk and sneaky elimination attempts. Goto and Inoki had some excellent interactions. The match turned on a shocking elimination. And then you had a ferocious showdown between best buddies Choshu and Saito. Just great, great stuff and a slam dunk nomination.
June 4, 200916 yr comment_5440184 Yeah this was awesome, seems weird that Goto never got a push after this match, I lost my shit when he did, what he did. Hoshino continues to be totally awesome, and this trios tourney is all that was promised. We should see if the Sky-A version of this is unclipped, as there is some slight clipping here.
June 4, 200916 yr comment_5440195 Yeah the return from commercial felt odd. Hopefully we have the complete version but yeah this ruled.
September 7, 200916 yr comment_5443911 The early Hoshino-Sakaguchi stuff was fucking great. Poor Hoshinio in the land of giants. Then, in his next stint, he gets to meet Saito. I nearly lost my shit when Saito almost was eliminated by Hoshino. Who would have thought Saito would play Native-In-Peril and Team Inoki has there way with him. After Inoki comes in, he corners Saito who has nowhere to go even though he is looking for an escape. Nice visual. Choshu keeps it up with some vicious kicks as Saito fights through the pain. Some great elimination teases in this one. Too bad Hoshino couldn't take someone out. Holy Shit!!! Did not see that one coming!!!! Choshu fighting from behind was pretty good with Sakaguchi up to the role of punisher. Add the stretch run with Saito-Choshu and this is an easy nomination.
