Adias & Vince Apollo would show up to end this garbage by beating up both men. Candi Divine vs. Rockin Robin (12/3/87) Nothing match. Next we get Buddy Jack’s Barstool on location in Chicago. Cuz & Solomon Grundy vs. Grim Reaper & Ultimate Warrior (12/3/87) This Warrior is a jobber and this is a horrible match. Thankfully Tatum & Victory end this debacle. Fabulous Lance, Wild Bill Irwin, & The Missing Link vs. The Hood (Jeff Gaylord), Iceman King Parsons, & Buddy Roberts (12/3/87) Hood is working as new Spoiler here and this wasn’t much of anything. Wild Bill Irwin vs. Jim Richardson (12/17/87) Squash. Then we get clips of the Grundy’s vs. Tatum/Victory feud. This is followed up by a Tatum/Victory video to Stlll of the Night by Whitesnake and a promo by the pair. Then we get clips of a Lance vs. Buddy Roberts match. The Missing Link vs. Iceman King Parsons (12/17/87) This was the Iceman show as he dicked around talking shit to the fans, talking shit to Sheena at ringside, taking Link’s steel chair that he brought in the ring and used it against him. Iceman then worked over Link’s left arm relentlessly until Link would fight back with nothing but headbutts before the Hood would run out using Iceman’s cane for the DQ. Then we get clips of Rockin Robin vs. Debbie Combs. Next is clips from a bad match with some of the Ken Mantell trainees and it is not good. Then we get clips of Tatum/Victory vs. Grundy’s featuring Jason Sterling running out to help the Grundy’s. Then we get clips of Fabulous Lance vs. The Hood. Next we get clips of Irwin/Lance vs. Iceman/Buddy from 11/7/87. Wild West Tag Titles Tournament – Semifinals: “Hollywood” John Tatum & Jack Victory vs. Cuz & Solomon Grundy (11/7/87) The best parts of Wild West is all in this one match as Tatum & Victory are wrestling the shitty hillbillies and Iceman is on commentary with Mercer pissed off about the happenings of the previous match. Wild West Tag Titles Tournament – Finals: “Hollywood” John Tatum & Jack Victory vs. The Missing Link & Jeff Raitz (11/7/87) Iceman is still on commentary and is fucking awesome. This was okay thanks to the heels as Raitz was green as grass and Link did nothing but headbutts. The celebration ceremony after the match was great though with Tatum & Victory posing for photos with their students Grim Reaper & Ultimate Warrior until the faces ran them out with a 2x4. Bob Bradley vs. Jason Sterling (4/29/88) This was a nifty little match that goes to a 10:00 draw. Black Bart vs. Tom Fowler (4/29/88) Squash. Iceman King Parsons vs. The Glassman (4/29/88) Squash and Iceman fucking rules. Solomon Grundy vs. Killer Brooks (4/29/88) Bad match. Texas Tornado Match: Shaun & Steve Simpson vs. “Hollywood” John Tatum & Jack Victory (4/29/88) The heels really pound on the Simpsons to start the match with Tatum throwing left handed shots but Steve would sneak in a schoolboy on Tatum to get the win as TV time runs out. Way too short. Sweet Brown Sugar vs. Tom Fowler (4/29/88) Skip gets the win. Steve Simpson vs. Grim Reaper (4/29/88) Squash. Then there is stuff I’ve already seen. Terry Taylor vs. Jeff Raitz (5/15/88) Fine little match with Taylor making Raitz look good. Steve Casey vs. Playboy Vince Apollo (5/15/88) This only goes a couple of minutes before Casey gets the win but gets destroyed after the match by Eric Embry. Next we get Buddy Jack’s Barstool with Iceman & Angel of Death and again Iceman is awesome. The Missing Link vs. Angel of Death (5/15/88) Bad match that would end with Vince Apollo hitting Angel by mistake and costing him the match. “Gentleman” Chris Adams & Shaun Simpson vs. “Flamboyant” Eric Embry & Jack Victory (5/15/88) Embry is subbing for Tatum who has his arm in a sling. There was some fine action here with Tatum being good in his role as a second on the floor with Adams going after him. Shaun did fine as the FIP and Adams looked good getting the hot tag as the 4-way brawl kicked in but Tatum would use a steel chair on Adams before jumping in the ring for the DQ as TV time runs out. “Flamboyant” Eric Embry vs. Jason Sterling (5/15/88) This had good action as Sterling was good opponent as he would take punishment. Sterling was giving it as he was taking it though with Embry having to fight to keep the advantage but as he tried to give him a superplex, Steve Casey ran out with a bandage on his head to attack him for the DQ. Then we get Buddy Jack’s Barstool with Tatum & Victory. Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy & Shaun Simpson vs. Angel of Death & Buddy Roberts (5/13/88) Already seen this.
