Posted February 16, 200916 yr comment_5437257 This was the finals of the trios tournament but not close to the best match from it. It told an interesting story, however, as Choshu and Fujinami canceled each other out and left the young lions to try and kill the old king, Inoki. I thought they could have pulled more drama out of the last segment if Inoki had seemed a little more wounded. But the key twist was dramatic and surprising and Hoshino again did some good work as the warm-up act. It goes on the block.
June 4, 200916 yr comment_5440188 I really dug Hoshino in this again, as he was on fire, and the sacrifice spot was great, but it really set up Inoki kind of easily going over both Hash and Chono. Flat enough finish that I only give it a mild endorsement. For a push a young lion, this got smoked by Goto in the Murdoch trios
June 4, 200916 yr comment_5440191 The opening parts of this were really good. I loved the spot where Hash and Chono knocked their own partner (Fujiwara) out inorder to get rid of Choshu. But there never felt like there was anything to the two on one Chono/Hash v Inoki section, I blinked and almost missed Hash's elimination and the end run chono v Inoki was dissapointing. Still think this should move forward.
September 7, 200916 yr comment_5443917 As he often does, Hoshino steals the show early on. The Choshu-Fujinami stuff was good as always and was one of the better eliminations. However, i agree with you guys about the end run with Inoki and with the amount of awesome eliminations on the set and better work, I think we can leave this one off.
