Posted March 10, 200916 yr comment_5437911 A bald Eddy Mansfield, Buck Robley, Tank Patton, & fake Spoiler cut promos to start the hsow. Tiger Conway Jr. vs. Juan Reynosa (July 1981) The future Tarras Bulba puts up a good fight but Conway would prevail in the end. Colonel Buckley Christopher George Robley III & Tank Patton vs. Tom Prichard & Relampago Leon (July 1981) The faces get some offense in but the heels are too powerful for them. Chavo Guerrero vs. The Spoiler (July 1981) Scott Casey is in Chavo’s corner as Spoiler is in for the $5,000 bounty placed on his head by Mansfield. Chavo again looks great here but would get thrown over the top rope for the DQ. Then we get a promo by Chavo & Manny Fernandez about the Dynamic Duo. The Dynamic Duo (Tully Blanchard & Gino Hernandez) vs. Ivan Putski & Leo Seitz (July 1981) Chavo & Manny talk shit to the Duo from ringside and it almost gets physical before cooler heads prevail. Fine little match even with Putski in the ring as the Duo are so awesome together. “Mr. Unpredictable” Dick Slater vs. Tony Torres (July 1981) Squash. Casey & Conway then cut a promo. Scott Casey vs. The Bounty Hunter (July 1981) Hunter is a masked jobber so Robley comes out and destroys him then takes his place. Robley then rips the mask off and puts it on which was tremendous. This was going along fine until Mansfield jumps in the ring for the DQ. The next show starts with a promo by the Dynamic Duo & Conway. Larry (Red Dog) Lane vs. Leo Seitz (June 1981) Very solid match with both men laying in the strikes here. Scott Casey & Tiger Conway Jr. vs. Doug Somers & Jesse Tanner (June 1981) The freshly bald Eddy Mansfield shows up at ringside covered in a towel spreading bounty posters around. The faces get the win fairly easily. “Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez vs. Tully Blanchard (June 1981) This was always an interesting matchup because both guys really hated each other and would have some tight matches. Manny would keep Tully on the mat early on with different armbars and looked really good. The match would come back up to a vertical base and this was worked like being in a telephone booth until Tully pulled Manny over the top rope with him to the floor. Gino Hernandez would show up and used a belt buckle to bust up Manny and the Dynamic Duo beat Manny bloody until Chavo Guerrero made the save and used his cowboy boot to pound on Gino. The match wasn’t but a couple of minutes but the brawl was great. Bull then cuts a great bloody promo with Chavo about the situation and this whole thing is a definite extra. Tom Prichard vs. Juan Reynosa (June 1981) Spotlight match for these two especially Prichard who gets the win. Then we get clips of Conway vs. Tank Patton for the Brass Knux title at Hemisfair Arena. Too bad this wasn’t aired in full. The show closes with promos by Casey & Putski.
