Posted March 13, 200916 yr comment_5438016 Chris Adams vs Tora Yatsu - 6/3/1983 This was a fucking blast. The wrestlers worked the bout with pro wrestling. mixed with some hand to hand combat. I loved this. I was a tad pissed at Yatsu for disrespecting the super kick. Other than that I loved this, and a nomination. Adams was a studd worker.
July 11, 200916 yr comment_5441786 "Gentleman" Chris Adams vs. Yoshiaki Yatsu (5/27/83) This should be interesting since Adams has the judo background and history with New Japan which is where Yatsu came from so they have worked each other in the past. Yatsu bumped all over the place for Adams here and this was a different match for World Class at the time as these two mixed up American/Japanese/English styles here. I loved Yatsu's reverse of Adams' headscissors as he did it from his back not the front. Yatsu would get the advantage here and started kicking Adams' ass all over the ring before Adams would turn the tide with a slingshot into the corner although to Yatsu's credit he would answer back with some kicks. Adams though would fire off two Superkicks that Yatsu didn't really sell that well before Adams would hit a reverse body block off the middle rope for a nearfall followed up by Superkicks on Yatsu & Hussein. Adams would then hit a diving kick off the top rope to get the win. This was a fun little match and it should go on the block for consideration.
