Posted March 23, 200916 yr comment_5438152 Lucas & Morton start the show cutting a promo on the Dynamic Duo. Hacksaw Duggan & “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan vs. Tom Jones & Lester Parks (4/18/82) Squash. The Dynamic Duo come out and cut a great promo. El Charro & El Falcon vs. The Dynamic Duo (Tully Blanchard & Gino Hernandez) (4/18/82) Two masked men in full bodysuits that no one has heard of, you can smell the setup. The masked men throw the Duo around early on but the heels get their wits about them and would gain the control. The heels had it in their hands but Tully got snookered by El Falcon in an inside cradle for the win. The masked men unmasked after the match as Lucas & Morton as they proved they could beat the Duo at any time. This is extra material. Killer Brooks vs. Frank Monte (4/18/82) Brooks wins fairly easily. Scott Casey & Chavo Guerrero vs. Grenade Bowyer (Mike Boyette) & Jose Guerra (4/18/82) Chavo looked great here and Casey was fine in the ring then cuts a good promo after the match. “Ragin Bull” Manny Fernandez vs. Terry Gibbs (4/18/82) Manny is working heel here and finishes off Gibbs with a big dropkick off the top rope. The next show starts with a promo by Bob Sweetan on Tully Blanchard wanting his Southwest Heavyweight Title. Mando Guerrero vs. Cocoa Samoa (August 1983) Funny seeing Mike Boyette with a buzzcut working as a referee here. Fun little match that saw Mando get the win as Cocoa missed a splash off the top rope hitting Mando’s knees and Mando getting an inside cradle. Tully Blanchard vs. Henry Garcia (August 1983) Tully is great here as a heel prick and wins easily. Tully then gives a retort to Sweetan after the match. Then we get a video for Adrian Street set to Tiptoe Through the Tulips by Tiny Tim. Al Perez vs. Randy Hoskins (August 1983) Perez is a rookie here. Jonathan Boyd gives a description of the Sheepherders Chain Match and this is extra material. “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan vs. El Santo Negro (August 1983) This isn’t the famous Santo Negro. Scott Casey vs. Black Gordman (August 1983) Gordman is moving slow here and the match isn’t that hot but Bob Sweetan jumps in the ring after the match for a fun pull-apart brawl with Casey. “Hangman” Bobby Jaggers & Buddy Moreno vs. Ali Bey & Dusty Woods (August 1983) Funny seeing Ali Bey with hair. Jaggers is the top babyface here and Moreno was getting a push as a ethnic babyface. Luke Williams would then attack the faces after the match then chokes out Moreno with a chain. Jaggers would then get an axehandle to clear the ring. Jaggers then cuts a fiery promo after the match and this feud is extra material. Fun stuff.
