Nick Bockwinkel cuts a promo about defending his title against Jerry Lawler in San Antonio. Nick Bockwinkel vs. El Santo Negro (11/22/82) Bock looks good here and lets Santo Negro shine as well. Ken Lucas vs. Juan Reynosa (11/22/82) Reynosa tries to put up a fight but it was in vain. We get a promo by Scott Casey & El Gran Apollo next. Scott Casey & El Gran Apollo vs. The Grapplers (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) (11/22/82) This was mostly back-and-forth until the Grapplers started working over Casey’s bad left shoulder. Casey would get the hot tag to Apollo who goes on offense before the 4-way brawl starts up. The brawling continues until TV time runs out. Grapplers then cut a promo after the match wanting more time. Average match at best. Tully Blanchard then cuts a promo about Sweetan. Tully Blanchard vs. Ken Johnson (11/22/82) Tully wins fairly easily. Ricky Morton vs. Ali Bey (11/22/82) TV time runs out before the finish. Bockwinkel starts out the next show talking about everyone in Texas being partial against him. The Grapplers (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) vs. Ricky Morton & El Santo Negro (12/20/82) Lou Thesz working as the commissioner of Southwest is on color here. Grapplers really work over Negro here until he gets the hot tag to Morton who goes on offense before tagging Negro back in the ring which wasn’t a smart move since he did the job quickly. Next we get a promo from Ivan Putski who is back in the area. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Ali Bey (12/20/82) Bock again looks good here. Mike Graham cuts a promo about his feud with Tully Blanchard. Tully Blanchard vs. Mike Graham (12/20/82) Good little match with both men just pounding each other with a shitty finish as Graham reversed a Tully piledriver by backdropping him over the top rope for the DQ. “Hangman” Bobby Jaggers vs. Terry Daniels (12/20/82) Squash. Scott Casey vs. Juan Reynosa (12/20/82) Casey wins easily. Tully cuts a promo with Adrian Adonis who is the next in line to collect the bounty on Sweetan. $5,000 Bounty Match: “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan vs. Adrian Adonis (12/20/82) For a bounty match this was slow and plodding for a while but both men were laying in the shots. The punches start coming as TV time is running out with Sweetan coming out on top as he crotches Adonis on the top rope. Sweetan then has Adonis in a piledriver right as they cut to the end credits. They were early in using the bullshit TV endings.
