The Von Erichs vs. The Freebirds & Jimmy Garvin (8 man elimination) (6-3-83) (17:22) Kerry Von Erich vs. Terry Gordy (6-10-83) (9:15) Freebirds Promo (6-10-83) (2:45) David Von Erich vs. Jimmy Garvin (6-17-83) Kerry Von Erich & Bruiser Brody vs. The Freebirds (6-17-83) (7:42) Freebirds vs. Von Erichs (7-4-83) (31:47) This is super heated. Their is not 1 bout at Wrestlemania that will have this amount of heat. Overall, this was just an awesome bout. That was full of heat, snug work and hate filled. This bout was on Bowdren's list of 100 greatest bouts. The 2nd and 3rd falls were tremendous. The bout had a big time feel to it. All 6 wrestlers kicked some serious ass here. I also dug the 2nd and 3rd falls finishes. This ruled, and a slam dunk pick. What an awesome feud.
July 13, 200916 yr comment_5441882 2 out of 3 falls for the World Class Six-Man Tag Titles: The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy, Michael Hayes, & Buddy Roberts) © vs. David, Kerry, & Kevin Von Erich (7/4/83) This is from the big show in Fort Worth and the Tarrant County Convention Center crowd is pretty apeshit for this whole thing. There isn't a whole lot you can say about this one as it was fucking awesome in every way and right up there as the best match in the series between these families. This is as definite as it gets and a masterlock nomination. Holy shit was this great.
