This starts with clips of the SCW World Title tourney finals on 5/21/83 featuring Adrian Adonis beating Bob Orton Jr. to win the title after a promo by Lou Thesz about the tournament.

Adonis then cuts his first promo as champion and this is extra material.

Bobby Jaggers vs. Ali Bey (5/23/83)

Jaggers wins fairly easily.

Bob Sweetan then cuts a promo with his newly regained Southwest title from Adonis so he could win the world title. Sweetan wants a world title shot of course.

The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams) vs. Scott Casey & Sweet Brown Sugar (Skip Young) (5/23/83)

This was pretty fast paced with both teams tagging in and out frequently and trading the advantage off with no one getting any real momentum. Boyd would chunk Casey over the top rope allowing Jaggers to run out to post Casey who juices. Sugar would then get thrown out so the Sheeps could double-team Casey for the win. Solid TV match and I’m throwing it on the block.

Next we get a promo by Mark Van Halen and I have no idea on who this is and if even he wrestled in Southwest.

Adrian Adonis vs. Brickhouse Brown (5/23/83)

This is the earliest I’ve seen Brick work and he gets squashed in a minute. Sugar would jump Adonis after the match and runs him out with dropkicks.

Sheeps come out for a promo where they bury everyone.

Eric Embry vs. Cocoa Samoa (5/23/83)

Fine little match with Embry winning with an inside cradle.

Mando Guerrero vs. El Santo Negro (5/23/83)

This was really fun as both men worked a lucharific little match here.

Steve Stack starts the next show to announce that Dick Slater has been stripped of the Southwest Heavyweight Title after not defending the title because he went to Jim Crockett Promotions.

Ricky Morton then cuts a promo about Ken Lucas being injured and in the hospital.

Terry Daniels vs. Juan Reynosa (12/6/82)

Spotlight match for Daniels.

Don Carson & Grapplers come out cutting a promo whining about Ken Lucas being in the hospital thus cancelling their titles match.

Tully Blanchard vs. Ricky Morton (12/6/82)

Cool seeing these two work against each other here. This was fun as both men threw some good punches and Morton hit a dropkick on Tully who was on the apron and posted himself on the way down to the floor. Tully then bladed and Morton went to work on the cut relentlessly. Morton would get some nearfalls before going to attack Don Carson. Tully then nailed Morton from behind and got the pin to win the match. Like I said this was pretty fun with some blood thrown in and this goes on the block.

Scott Casey vs. “Hangman” Bobby Jaggers (12/6/82)

Fine little match that would end in a DQ when Jaggers came off the top rope with a forearm smash after a double collision. Both men continued to brawl after the match before Jaggers used his loaded armbrace to hit Casey in the ribs.

Morton & Sweetan then cut promos about the Grapplers.

The Grapplers (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) vs. El Santo Negro & “Bruiser” Bob Sweetan (12/6/82)

Grapplers really work over Negro after Sweetan pounded on them to start the match. Negro would get the hot tag to Sweetan who cleans house before going for a piledriver that would be avoided after the other Grappler made the save. Sweetan then gets worked over as Morton shows up and takes Negro’s place. Morton rallies the crowd as Sweetan fights back and makes the tag with the crowd going nuts. The 4-way brawl is on as Jack Howell calls for the DQ since Morton isn’t a legal participant. Fun stuff as the fans were into it good.

Then we get clips of Bockwinkel vs. Lawler from Hemisfair Arena in San Antonio.

Tully then comes out in a suit with a bandage vowing revenge on Morton & Sweetan.
