Von Erichs vs Gino/Adams/Jake - 12/31/1984

This is a fun brawl. Mike took a big ass beating from Adams. His sell of the superkick was great. Jake's leap frog DDT was awesome. Kevin's sell job from the apron of said DDT was great as well. The finish was kinda weak as Roberts got caught with a sucker punch while taunting the bros. This was good stuff and a nomination.

World Class Six-Man Tag Titles: “Gentleman” Chris Adams, “Gorgeous” Gino Hernandez, & Jake “The Snake” Roberts © vs. Kerry, Kevin, & Mike Von Erich (12/31/84)

This had some good fast paced action to start the match with everyone but Mike looking good and Jake was especially fun being Jake here. Of course Adams didn’t want any part of Kevin until the heels were on offense and whenever Kevin got the upperhand the fans were nuts. It was hard to keep the action one-on-one as everyone was trying to beat on the other whether they were legal or not. Mike comes in and eats a fucking awesome Superkick right in the teeth followed up by an awesome piledriver. Not too long after that Mike ate a serious DDT but as Jake posed in the corner, Kerry punched him in the mouth with Mike getting a schoolboy for the win. This was great stuff and I thought the finish was pretty cute. Definite nomination.
