This show starts with Scott Casey & Wahoo McDaniel in the ring talking about Tully Blanchard being stripped of his Southwest Heavyweight Title due to being injured.

Abby destroys Tug and the referee for the DQ before jobbers come out to stop him although they get crushed. Wahoo would run out to help make the save.

Gino looks good here hitting the patented elbow drop for the win.

 

“Continental Lover” Eddy Mansfield vs. Jesse Tanner (3/4/81)

Then we get a promo from the Dynamic Duo.

 

Scott Casey vs. “Wild Bull of the Pampas” Pampero Firpo (3/4/81)

 

Wow a Firpo sighting here as he was on the verge of retirement around this time. This is nothing but a fight since Firpo was a brawler sorta like an early Bruiser Brody. Mansfield comes to ringside during the match and the fans get behind Casey big time as this match was mostly in Firpo’s favor but Caesy would pull out the win as Mansfield ran in for the DQ. Casey would clean house though after the match.

 

Tank Patton vs. Gary Blaze (3/4/81)

 

Squash.

 

Tank & Mansfield then close the show with a promo about the Southwest title tournament.

 

The next show starts with a promo by Princess Jasmine before Evelyn Stevens gets involved and we have a slap fight.

 

Then we get a video for the Macho Man who is coming into Southwest.

 

Leo Burke is out for a promo talking about coming to Southwest before being interrupted by Jonathan Boyd.

 

Leo Burke vs. Juan Reynosa (9/24/84)

 

Reynosa has begun his transformation into Tarras Bulba and just pounds on Burke to start the match before Burke got the advantage and put him to sleep.

 

Then we get clips of Colon vs. Abby from San Antonio on 9/23/84.

 

Next are clips of the Sheeps vs. Road Warriors from San Antonio on 9/23/84.

 

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Tony Falk & Steve Simpson (9/24/84)

 

Sheeps just destroy these guys.

 

Voodoo Malumba vs. Dan White (9/24/84)

 

It’s hilarious seeing Big Red Reese in this gimmick especially since he was a real life preacher.

 

Then we get clips of Pierre LeFebvre/Frenchy Martin vs. Al Madril/Voodoo Mulumba from San Antonio on 9/23/84 and a promo by Madril afterwards.

 

The Fabulous Blondes (Eric Embry & Dan Greer) vs. Bob Garcia & Manuel Villalobos (9/24/84)

 

Blondes win easily and then beat on some dude after the match until Brett Sawyer & Chicky Starr made the save.

 

Then we get clips of Sawyer/Starr vs. Blondes from San Antonio on 9/23/84.

 

Joe Blanchard comes out and says that he will run Jonathan Boyd out of the area so of course Boyd shows up and demands that Blanchard resign as the boss. Killer Brooks then demands that Boyd give him his $5,000 for running Manny Fernandez out of Texas but Boyd said that he had to injure him so he won’t pay him. Boyd decks Blanchard as Brooks watches then decks Brooks so Brooks grabs a steel chair and bashes him over the head with it as Boyd pops a gusher. Brooks then brawls with the Sheeps before Madril & Malumba make the save. This was a great angle and extra material.
