Posted May 6, 200916 yr comment_5439193 This starts with stuff I’ve seen already. Jonathan Boyd narrates clips of The Mummy winning a Texas Brawl in Austin. Scott Casey then cuts a promo on The Mummy with a followup by Jonathan Boyd. The Mummy vs. El Tejano (May 1984) Mummy won’t let go of a bearhug until Scott Casey runs in the ring which ends up with him being jumped by Butch Miller. Casey then recovers and goes to the podium where he gets into it with Boyd. Then we get clips of Brody vs. Jos LeDuc from San Antonio on 5/5/84. Next are clips of the Sheeps burning Al Perez with a fireball followed up with a promo by Perez who is bandaged up. Boyd & Sheeps then cut a promo on the whining babyfaces. The Mummy vs. Henry Garcia (May 1984) Another squash and Brody attacks Mummy after the match. The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Scott Casey & Dusty Woods (May 1984) Woods gets destroyed and after the match the Sheeps go to burn Scott Casey but Al Perez runs in to help but he gets attacked and they throw another fireball in his face before the Fabulous Ones run out to make the save. Fabs then cut a great angry promo and this is extra material. Then we get clips of Killer Brooks vs. Mil Mascaras from San Antonio on 3/4/84. Boyd then cuts a promo with the Commonwealth Army that ends up with Bobby Fulton coming out to challenge Adrian Street which Boyd accepts. USA Jr. Heavyweight Title: Exotic Adrian Street © vs. Bobby Fulton (3/13/84) Street with help from Miss Linda work over Fulton to start the match by just pounding on him with shots and throwing him to the floor. Fulton would fire it up though as Street just kicks on him and once back in the ring he would make his comeback using some of Jerry Lawler’s tactics with the punches until Street hit him with an ass attack ala Shiro Koshinaka. Street goes for a piledriver but Fulton would pick him up in the air running him into Miss Linda then falling back on him getting the pin to win the match. The crowd goes nuts and the People’s Army celebrates in the ring with the new champion. Boyd then demands that Fulton give him a rematch with loser leaves town rules since Street is heading for Jim Crockett Promotions. This was fun stuff and it goes on the block. Voodoo Mulumba (Big Red Reese) vs. Manuel Villalobos (3/20/84) Squash.

Boyd interview Mummy squash Brody v Joe LeDuc-Sheeps hold Brody while LeDuc wastes Mummy This highlights. Sheeps burn Al Perez Sheepherders interview. Good stuff. Mummy v Bab Garcia-Brody beats on Mummy (Bobby Duncum), Joe Leduc comes in but Bobby Fulton throws Brody a chair This was a fun little piece of business. We also get a killer Bruiser promo. Sheeps v Casey/Woods-Sheeps try and burn Casey, Fabs make save We get more fire. Mil Mascaras vs. Killer Brooks Street vs. Fulton Street is great at working his gimmick.Fulton is good here at working from underneath. The finish here was neat. I thought both men looked solid here and we got a solid little bout. The crowd popped huge here at the title change. I vote no on a nom though. This lead to a LLT bout between Street and Fulton A squash bout is next.
March 28, 201015 yr comment_5448716 The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Scott Casey & Dusty Woods (May 1984) Not really feeling this one. USA Jr. Heavyweight Title: Exotic Adrian Street © vs. Bobby Fulton (3/13/84) I honestly didn't care for this. Fulton doesn't usually bug me as much as he does most people, but he really irritated me here. His selling and bumping struck me as too over the top. Every bit of offense he ate from Street or Miss Linda gets sold like a taser shot. At one point early on, he is on the outside trying to get back in. Miss Linda is blocking his entrance, and he's trying to get around her, and I guess he gets hit with something. I couldn't even really tell what, but it sends him flying back into the audience, and unless you're looking closely, it seems like he just decided to start crowd surfing for no discernible reason. I say "no".
