Posted May 6, 200916 yr comment_5439194 USA Jr. Heavyweight Title: Exotic Adrian Street © vs. Bobby Fulton (3/13/84) Street with help from Miss Linda work over Fulton to start the match by just pounding on him with shots and throwing him to the floor. Fulton would fire it up though as Street just kicks on him and once back in the ring he would make his comeback using some of Jerry Lawler’s tactics with the punches until Street hit him with an ass attack ala Shiro Koshinaka. Street goes for a piledriver but Fulton would pick him up in the air running him into Miss Linda then falling back on him getting the pin to win the match. The crowd goes nuts and the People’s Army celebrates in the ring with the new champion. Boyd then demands that Fulton give him a rematch with loser leaves town rules since Street is heading for Jim Crockett Promotions. This was fun stuff and it goes on the block.
May 27, 200916 yr comment_5439976 Street vs. Fulton Street is great at working his gimmick.Fulton is good here at working from underneath. The finish here was neat. I thought both men looked solid here and we got a solid little bout. The crowd popped huge here at the title change. I vote no on a nom though.
March 28, 201015 yr comment_5448715 I honestly didn't care for this. Fulton doesn't usually bug me as much as he does most people, but he really irritated me here. His selling and bumping struck me as too over the top. Every bit of offense he ate from Street or Miss Linda gets sold like a taser shot. At one point early on, he is on the outside trying to get back in. Miss Linda is blocking his entrance, and he's trying to get around her, and I guess he gets hit with something. I couldn't even really tell what, but it sends him flying back into the audience, and unless you're looking closely, it seems like he just decided to start crowd surfing for no discernible reason. I say "no".
