An episode of World Class followed by an episode of Worldwide. I talked about the World Class stuff in the appropriate folder.

Footage of Jimmy Garvin & Steve Regal ganging up on Wahoo McDaniel and attacking him with a leather strap

Wahoo McDaniel Interview

Talking about the above.

Steve Regal vs. The Italian Stallion

It is what it is.

Jimmy Garvin & Steve Regal Interview

I love me some Jimmy Garvin.

Tully Blanchard & JJ Dillon Interview

Features footage of them attacking Ron Garvin during a match with Leo Burke.

Jimmy Valiant & Manny Fernandez vs. Ron Rossi & ?

Two seconds long.

Magnum TA gets stripped of the US Title

Bob Giegel lectures Magnum on his behavior during the contract signing, but Magnum won't take that shit and socks Giegel in the face. Giegel then strips him of the Title as a result of that. Really well done stuff. Definite extra material.

Jim Crockett Jr. Interview

He announces the Best of 7 series between Magnum TA and Nikita Koloff for the vacant US Title.

The Rock 'N' Roll Express vs. Thunderfoot & The Golden Terror

Nothing special.

Ric Flair Interview

Flair is flanked by the Horsemen. He starts to talk shit about Dusty, but Dusty steps in flanked by pretty much every other top babyface in the company and tells him to quite running his mouth and fight him in the main event. Flair is understandably reluctant. Possible extra.

Jim Cornette Interview

Good stuff.

The Koloffs vs. Denny Brown & Sam Houston

Good little match.

Magnum TA Interview

Quality stuff. Probably belongs as an extra alongside the angle he's talking about.

Baron Von Raschke, Shaska Whatley, & Teijo Khan vs. Todd Champion, Rocky Kernodle, & Rocky King

Not very good.

Dusty Rhodes vs. Ric Flair

Dusty promptly disposes of his scheduled opponent, which is convenient, since Ric Flair has had a change of heart and decides to take Dusty up on his challenge. Good match. Dusty has things in control when the Horsemen run in, and then it just ends.

Also lots of bumping segments featuring Tony Schiavone hyping house shows and doing interviews with Jim Cornette, Ivan Koloff, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, Magnum TA, and Ricky Morton.

This is the debut of the new World Wide Wrestling music and I shed a tear because the old WWW theme was one of the best themes ever. The reason why they changed it is because WWW & the new NWA Pro show were in stereo now.

David & Tony spoil the US Title change to start the show because it hadn't aired yet on WTBS.

Wahoo then comes out with his strap and he is pissed about being attacked by Garvin & Regal on the NWA Pro tapings that night.

"Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal vs. Italian Stallion (6/3/86)

The fans chant for Wahoo like crazy but he doesn't come out. Regal doesn't have it easy here as Stallion gives as good as he gets with the fans going nuts but Regal would finish him off with the Russian Legsweep to win.

Garvin & Regal then cut a celebration promo afterwards about their beatdown of Wahoo.

Tully & Dillon come out next and we the Norfolk video again with new narration.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Bill Mulkey & Ron Rossi (6/3/86)

Another quick squash.

Next we get promos from Cornette, Ivan, Arn, & Tully for the 6/18 show in Raleigh.

Then we get the whole Magnum being stripped of the US Title saga.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Golden Terror & Thunderfoot (6/3/86)

This crowd is completely apeshit for RnR as they take apart the masked jobbers with Morton using a DDT to beat Terror.

The Horsemen are out next minus Ole of course all dressed up in suits talking about how great they are and then we get Dusty and the babyfaces behind him with Dusty challenging Flair to get in the ring later on for a match on TV. Flair said that it costs a ton of money to get him to work on TV..this is a definite extra.

Cornette & Bubba are out next and he said that the bounty on the James Boys has been raised to $100,000.

Ivan & Nikita Koloff vs. Denny Brown & Sam Houston (6/3/86)

Ivan takes some good punishment early from the faces but a quick Russian Sickle by Nikita on Sam ends the match just like that.

Magnum comes out next with his US Title belt which he lost because he was pushed over the line by the Koloffs and he said that the title belongs to him and no one else. Very strong promo from Magnum and extra material.

Teijho Khan, Baron Von Raschke, & Shaska Whatley vs. Todd Champion, Rocky Kernodle, & Rocky King (6/3/86)

After some back and forth action, Baron would get the black glove and used it on Rocky to win the match.

Then we get promos from Magnum & Morton for the 6/18 show in Raleigh.

"American Dream" Dusty Rhodes vs. Vernon Deaton (6/3/86)

Dusty who rarely wrestled on the syndicated TV gets rid of Deaton then Flair who he challenged earlier in the show comes out for a match.

NWA World Heavyweight Title: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair © vs. "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes (6/3/86)

Dusty is really working over Flair when Arn & Tully ran out for the DQ this runs out though before Ole's return.
