Posted May 20, 200916 yr comment_5439690 An episode of World Class followed by an episode of Worldwide. I'll cover the Worldwide stuff in a seperate post in the NWA forum. Mark Youngblood vs. Buddy Roberts Interesting to see Buddy in the "technical" opening match spot. It's quite good. Youngblood continues to impress. Rick Rude vs. Bruiser Brody Footage from Ft. Worth. What's shown isn't bad. The highlight is Blackjack Mulligan making his debut by running in at the end. It is a pretty cool beatdown, I'd consider it a borderline extra. Lance Von Erich vs. The Grappler Really enjoyable. Probably the best I've seen Lance look yet. But he uses the schoolboy as a flash finish a lot for a guy with a pretty shitty schoolboy. Iceman King Parsons vs. The Great Kabuki I wasn't super into this. Chris Adams vs. John Tatum This was off the chain great. Tatum is the dick of all dicks as Adams kicks his ass the way you want him too, but unlike most of the other matches with great asshole Tatum performances, John gets to dish out the punishment as much as he takes it. The result is an easy nomination and something that would probably go fairly high on my ballot. EDIT: Almost forgot to mention that after Worldwide, we get.... Abdullah the Butcher vs. Jerry Allen JIP. A fun beating from Abby. The post-match is crazy, with Abdullah repeatedly assaulting Allen, Bronko Lubich, even Gary Hart before Hart is able to calm him. Possible extra.
November 24, 200915 yr comment_5445988 I've either covered all of this, or the bout didn't feel like a nomination. I did nominate Tatum-Adams. Youngblood has shown good fire in the bouts that i've seen him in.
