Really fun match, Blackman was completely awesome in this, like Rey Jr. level spectacular and agile. I also really dug the sections with Scorpio brawling with Enrique Vera. Cool chance to see some early 80's UWA.

Mano Negra & Blackman & Enrique Vera vs. Babyface & Scorpio & Rudy Reyna, 2/14/82 (NJC 119)

Fun first fall with Blackman flying all over the place, some exotico stuff and Babyface bumping. Nothing groundbreaking but fun. In the 2nd fall, not much happening but a sweet kick from Babyface to Blackman while he was being choked on the top rope. 3rd fall had a cool crash course dive sequence with fatass Scorpio delivering a tope and Blackman doing a cool sequence. I have no idea why the match ended. I enjoyed the match but this was the least best match I have watched tonight. I would not fight to get this on so I vote no.

Blackman/Mano Negra/Enrique Vera vs. Babe Face/Scorpio/Rudy Reyna (2/14/82)

 

Good action in the first fall with Blackman showing off his aerial skills while Babe & Vera also looked strong. Blackman was ahead of his time for sure while Rudy Reyna had Mike Boyette's hair 5 years early. Tecnicos took the 1st, rudos dominated the 2nd, and the 3rd fall was really fun as everyone was movin and groovin. Great dive train went down as Scorpio hit a nice fat man tope then Blackman took him out with a sweet tope con hilo off the top to the floor which was wet ground by the way it looked. The one issue here was that the referees stopped the match with no real reason the way it looked as there were no foules or anything. I liked this match more than Will did but the finish left me very dry. No on the nomination which if it had a better finish I would vouch for it.
