It slows down a bit but Kimura and Fujinami working well together. At one point, Sakaguchi reverses a Fujinami figure-four so Kimura goes in and kicks Sakaguch I in the face in order to reverse it. He gets his receipt later as Kimura has Inoki in the Sharpshooter and he gets popped in the face by Sakaguchi. Later still, Sakaguchi has Kimura in a Boston Crab and he gtes a clothesline from Fujinami to break the hold. Little things like that are why I love wrestling. This match also makes it clear that Inoki should always be on offense. He doesn’t sell particularly well and doesn’t show any emotion but his offense always gets a great reaction and looks pretty crisp. I also have to give credit to the Inoki/Sakaguchi team working much better together in the 2nd half. This was just an awesome tag and a slam-dunk. Easy Top 20 for me.
