Posted June 9, 200916 yr comment_5440455 I haven't been a huge fan of this match-up. They seemed to fall too easily into trading moves with little rhyme or reason. This wasn't exactly a masterpiece of storytelling either, but both guys were really on with their execution. They did some cool, intense mat stuff early and the fans were hot as they traded big suplexes down the stretch. This might underwhelm some of our panelists, but I thought it was a good enough example of what the juniors were doing in '89 that it should move forward. NJ Classics 336
August 11, 200916 yr comment_5442713 I think I liked this more then Childs, hard hitting juniors match with both guys looking on their games, and nothing that made me shake my head. I liked the bodyshot and enzigiri combo by Koshinaka and the but but counter into a german. Hase has a beautiful powerslam too. Feels like it should make a set.
September 7, 200916 yr comment_5443919 I thought the mat stuff was the best I have seen from the juniors in a good while. At one point, it looked like Kosh's head was going to explode frm a Hase head scissors. Big finishing stretch with the big moves. Does this mark the first appearance of a powerbomb on the set? I think this is a solid nomination and deserves to be on the set.
