Saito has enough of a punishing style of attack that it makes a nice contrast to Cobra’s Jr. style. Cobra’s quick recovery from the piledriver was annoying. Later on, they have a nice flurry of back and forth action. Saito getting disqualified for ripping at the mask is a fitting end since you could tell he was frustrated at constantly being shown up by Cobra. We’ll move this forward but I won’t mind if it drops off. Hulk Hogan vs. Tatsumi Fujinami - This starts off great as Fujinami is being checked out by the ref and Hogan nails him with a lariat and pins him for a three count… but the bell hasn’t rung yet. Just like the previous match, Hogan controls until it goes outside and this time, Fujinami turns the tables with a bodyslam on the concrete. A lot of similarities to this match and the previous day’s match. However, this one feels like the 2nd match where both guys know each other enough to counter certain things. Hogan knows after he gets tied in the Sharpshooter, he needs to get out of the ring and regroup. He knew the lariat put Fujinami away before so he tried to go for it right away. Even though it ended in a counout, I loved the ending. Fujinami nailing the lariat after ducking the Hogan lariat, sending Hogan out. In a panic, Hogan pulls Fujinami out to save his hide. Good stuff. The rematch gets a nomination. Antonio Inoki vs. King Kong Bundy - I am not really in the mood to watch this.
