Posted June 9, 200916 yr comment_5440479 Antonio Inoki, Tatsumi Fujinami & Kengo Kimura vs. Strong Machine #1, Strong Machine #2 & Strong Machine #3 (1/18/85) - The biggest problem I have is trying to figure out which Machine is which. It makes it hard to tell which one is damaged goods and which one needs to make the tag, etc. Having said that, they play the role of abusers rather well. Kimura played FIP for large portions of the match and I am ok with that. Match was thrown out but damn the Machines were fun here. Nomination. NJ Classics 181
June 10, 200916 yr comment_5440497 You know, I didn't hate this. Fujinami contributed an intense opening salvo. The Machines unveiled some new triple-team stuff in their control section on Kimura (catapulting him into clotheslines and such.) Inoki did fine with his asskicking routine at the finish. It just never rose to the level of the better trios main events from 1983 and 1984. No vote from me.
September 6, 200916 yr comment_5443885 This had some cool moments, although a lot of the execution was sketchy. The double hart attack clothesline is a cool idea, but it didn't come off well. Not the kind of thing that is going to make set.
