OK, this definitely belongs on the set, the question is where. It should be an easy question, but Memphis set the precedent that a match is not necessarily defined by the opening and closing bells, and a brawl taking place outside traditional "match" constructs can constitute a match itself. I don't know if this match quite does that. Match is good, and the post-match brawl - which is about as long as the match proper - is great. Both guys are really wild. Kevin keeps driving Buzz away, but every time it looks like Buzz is going to walk away, he turns back to the ring with that sick grin of his, and they start it up again. Really bloody, violent, great stuff, and if it's all taken as one match, I'd say it's an easy nomination. It probably shouldn't be, and the brawl probably should just go an as an extra, but I'm going to mention it anyway, just to get it out there.

"Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer vs. Kevin Von Erich (7/11/86)

Buzz cuts an insane promo before the match talking about dismembering the Von Erichs which was awesome and pissed Kevin off so the tone of the match was set. Kevin was intense while Buzz was calculated getting Kevin even more angry forcing him to fight the Mad Dog's game which he would on the floor. Buzz would miss with a steel chair against the ringpost allowing Kevin to lock on the iron claw and forcing juice from Buzz's head. Kevin is completely insane here throwing Buzz into the back door as Bronko Lubich calls for a double countout. Buzz would then stalk back to the ring for more which he would get in spades before finally leaving. This was an awesome spectacle but not a nomination although it is a slam dunk extra.
