Skip Young vs. Rick Rude

Good match. Rude has some nice looking suplexes.

Bruiser Brody vs. Marcel Pringle

Not much to this.

The Von Erichs vs. Butch Reed, Matt Borne, & Buzz Sawyer

Clipped to pieces, which is too bad, as what was shown looked pretty good.

Abdullah the Butcher vs. The Great Kabuki

JIP. Neat bloody brawl.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Tim Brooks

Another rad performance from Kevin. Too short for any real nomination consideration, though.

Chris Adams & Brian Adias vs. Buzz Sawyer & Matt Borne

Holy crow, this was awesome. The Sawyer/Borne team were great here. Borne in particular was a beast, laid in everything really forcefully. Buzz did too, did some decent comedy stooging as well. Adias and Adams both got to play face-in-peril. Adams looked great as always, including busting out his nice back suplex. Adias was harmless. Finish was World Class-ish, but still, match had a lot of great action and feels like a solid nomination.

The U.S. Express vs. Matt Borne & The Dingo Warrior

US Express are the Batten Twins, not Windham and Rotunda. OK match, the Woyah isn't called upon to do too much.

Gary Hart Interview

He talks about the acquisition of the Dingo Warrior and the challenge of Bruiser Brody.

Mark Youngblood vs. Rick Rude

Good little match.

Brian Adias vs. Buzz Sawyer (Texas Heavyweight Title Match)

Clipped. Nothing much to what was shown.

Bruiser Brody vs. Abdullah the Butcher

Clipped. Hard to get a read on it. Kevin Von Erich ran in at the end, and I really want to see Kevin vs. Abdullah.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Buzz Sawyer

OK, this definitely belongs on the set, the question is where. It should be an easy question, but Memphis set the precedent that a match is not necessarily defined by the opening and closing bells, and a brawl taking place outside traditional "match" constructs can constitute a match itself. I don't know if this match quite does that. Match is good, and the post-match brawl - which is about as long as the match proper - is great. Both guys are really wild. Kevin keeps driving Buzz away, but every time it looks like Buzz is going to walk away, he turns back to the ring with that sick grin of his, and they start it up again. Really bloody, violent, great stuff, and if it's all taken as one match, I'd say it's an easy nomination. It probably shouldn't be, and the brawl probably should just go an as an extra, but I'm going to mention it anyway, just to get it out there.

Bruiser Brody & Steve Simpson vs. Grappler II & Tim Brooks

Well, this is random. Not too special other than that.

Skip Young vs. Rick Rude

Solid, though some of Young's stuff looked weak. The 1st few minutes were great.

Bruiser Brody vs. Marcel Pringle

Squash.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Tim Brooks

Kevin looking great at making this bout.

Chris Adams & Brian Adias vs. Buzz Sawyer & Matt Borne

I liked this too. It feels like a low to mid tier nom. Adams was awesome in this. The heels were great with the stooging and just kicking the crap out of the faces. Plus I thought the heels were great at selling the arm. I also dug the limb work done by Adams and Adias. Nomination.

The U.S. Express vs. Matt Borne & The Dingo Warrior

Fine for what it is. Warrior is horrid.

Mark Youngblood vs. Rick Rude

Solid little bout.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Buzz Sawyer

This was fun. Feels like an extra.

Bruiser Brody & Steve Simpson vs. Grappler II & Tim Brooks

Feels rather blah.

"Ravishing" Rick Rude vs. Sweet Brown Sugar (7/11/86)

Rude starts off very aggressive here as he lost his World Class title to Chris Adams the previous week pounding on Sugar throwing him to the floor twice and even slamming him on the floor. Rude would then really slow it down here with a reverse chinlock for quite a while before chunking Sugar back to the floor again but this time Sugar fought back and slammed Rude's head against the table. Sugar took it back to the ring where he would continue working Rude over but that would end quickly as Rude would catch him in his DDT to get the win. The match was okay.

Bruiser Brody vs. Marcel Pringle (7/11/86)

Brody's promo before the match was better than the match.

Then we get clips of the July 4th Reunion Arena show.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Killer Tim Brooks (7/11/86)

Kevin looked pretty good here Brooks on the other hand not so much.

"Maniac" Matt Borne & "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer vs. "Gentleman" Chris Adams & Brian Adias (7/11/86)

This was a really good match with both teams working very well together especially Borne & Buzz who had history as team going back to 1980 for JCP. Everyone had their working boots on and I enjoyed the faces working over Borne's left arm with him doing a good job of selling and the heels countering by both of them working over Adams' neck with piledrivers. I liked the finish even if it had a ref bump so I had no problem with it. Like I said a very good match and moves forward.

"Maniac" Matt Borne & Dingo Warrior (Jim Hellwig) vs. Bart & Brad Batten (7/11/86)

Dingo makes his debut here and a legend is born. Borne does most of the work thankfully and the Battens are fine here but of course this was the showcase for Dingo. Not much of note.

"Ravishing" Rick Rude vs. Mark Youngblood (7/11/86)

Youngblood again gives a good showing but Rude wins with a russian legsweep of all things.

Then we get clips of Buzz taking the Texas title from Adias at Reunion on July 4th. Buzz was wearing white tights here which I never remember him wearing followed up by clips of Brody vs. Abby from Reunion.

"Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer vs. Kevin Von Erich (7/11/86)

Buzz cuts an insane promo before the match talking about dismembering the Von Erichs which was awesome and pissed Kevin off so the tone of the match was set. Kevin was intense while Buzz was calculated getting Kevin even more angry forcing him to fight the Mad Dog's game which he would on the floor. Buzz would miss with a steel chair against the ringpost allowing Kevin to lock on the iron claw and forcing juice from Buzz's head. Kevin is completely insane here throwing Buzz into the back door as Bronko Lubich calls for a double countout. Buzz would then stalk back to the ring for more which he would get in spades before finally leaving. This was an awesome spectacle but not a nomination although it is a slam dunk extra.

Bruiser Brody & Steve Simpson vs. Killer Tim Brooks & Grappler #2 (which wasn't Len Denton or Tony Anthony) (7/11/86)

I agree with the others that this match was basically a bunch of nothing after the previous segment.
