Masa Saito & Yoshiaki Yatsu vs. Tatsumi Fujinami & Kengo Kimura

- Yatsu plays weak link for his team and Fujinami and Kimura take turns abusing him until Saito gets back in and helps regain advantages. At one point, Saito executes a bulldog and gets so close to the ropes, I thought he was going to shoot through. The countout ending was pretty weak for this match and I think the match wasn’t strong enough on its own to hold a spot on the set.

Antonio Inoki vs. Adrian Adonis (IWGP League '84)

- I didn’t hate this as much as Childs but it didn’t really stand out as anything special.

The Cobra vs. Kuniaki Kobayashi (NWA Junior Title)

- This started off with Cobra ripping Kobayashi’s shirt and I always love some brawling to start a match off. It turns into Cobra working on the neck and head of Kobayashi which I was digging but then after Kobayashi takes over for a short spell, he switches it up and applies a Boston Crab. Early on, Kobayashi attempts a surfboard but Cobra makes the ropes but later on, after a Kobayashi attack, Cobra actually executes the surfboard instead. I was enjoying the stretch run but they missed a couple of spots. Still, the last 5 minutes or so were pretty much non-stop action. Childs says the August match was better than the January match so I'll be interested in seeing that one before nominating this one.
