Riki Choshu & Masa Saito vs. Hulk Hogan & Masked Superstar

- Early on, the Americans beat up on Saito which was fun but Saito just shrugs it off eventually and tags out. That is something that bugs me in a bunch of tag matches. There is no real build to many of the tags. Anyway, ths match was ok but nothing that really stood out.

Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Adrian Adonis (IWGP League '84)

- It was apparent early on that Adonis was not interested in really working the holds or working out of them. When these two were actually engaging each other in combat, the match was pretty good but Adonis must have been on some Ludes on this particular tour. The end was pretty hot but not really extraordinary. Anyway, this was a tweener match for me with too much dead space so no vote.

Antonio Inoki vs. Andre the Giant (IWGP League '84)

- I enjoyed this much more than Hogan-Inoki. I am not used to 20 minute Andre the Giant matches but it always a spectacle to see him go flying over the top rope or to see an opponent one-up the Giant. Unfortunately, by throwing Andre in a twenty minute match, you are setting yourself up for some extended restholds. Ifthey would have cut this down by ten minutes or so, this could have been something worth nominating. Still, haven’t seen any Andre matches that come close to the Hansen match.
