Posted June 12, 200916 yr comment_5440638 #129 August 27, 1982, Tokyo - Korakuen Hall Rusher Kimura & Higo Hamaguchi vs. Seiji Sakaguchi & Yoshiaki Yatsu - I like 3 of the 4 guys involved but this never felt special. Also, I had to keep rewinding to see if the strikes even made contact because it appeared they were working pretty light with each other early on. I liked the match as a whole but I don’t think it makes a cut in such a strong field of matches. Tatsumi Fujinami & Tiger Mask vs. Black Tiger & Pete Roberts - The fluidity of Roberts’ moves is great to watch whether taking a bump or trying to escape a hold. I also thought tiger Mask and Black Tiger were on the top of their game as well. Sayama was landing the kicks with force and nothing seemed like an unnatural movement. Add the clean, but predictable, ending and I want to see this move forward. Antonio Inoki & Hulk Hogan vs. Sgt.Slaughter & Ed Leslie - If you guys nominate it, I’ll watch it.
