V3 was pretty great. I loved how he would give a headbut to aguy and then try for a 2nd one, only for the guy to avoid it and end up punishing V3. The Tiger Mask-V3 matchup was particularly fun. Black Tiger and V3 were also great at tagging out at the right times. When the faces would hit a big move, they would instantly look for anyway they could to tag out. Seriously, this set needs this match. V3 brings so much to the table, people need to see the performance even if people in Mexico got to see it on a weekly basis. Easy nomination. Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Higo Hamaguchi (WWF International Title) - Damn, Hamaguchi flying over the top rope was pretty great. These guys take it to the mat and this is what Fujinami-Backlund should have been... always struggling, always countering. I love how after Hamaguchi’s deadlift attempt out of an armbar, Fujinami just attacks the arm relentlessly. Great sequence where Hamaguchi kicks Fujianmi out of the ring and keeps knocking him down when he comes in but when he tries a shoulder block, Fujinami flips over him and Hamaguchi goes flying out. The ending was sort of anti-climatic but I loved this match. Nomination. Antonio Inoki vs. Sgt. Slaughter - After the first two matches, I was hoping for more to end this episode on a high note. This was too short to amount to anything. October 21, 1982, Osaka Furitsu Gym Abdullah the Butcher vs. Seiji Sakaguchi - Again, this didn’t amount to much. Abby bleeds.
