I am digging all of these late 80's Fujinami v. Gaijin matches. Orton's bumping was awesome too, I loved the Race bump. Finish was a bit abrupt, but I think it was rehabbed by the W*ING arena tour postmatch brawl 1988 DVD #2
June 14, 200916 yr comment_5440705 Good performance by Bob with lots of nasty looking heelish offense and some theatrical bumping for Fujinami's stuff. It ended abruptly with Orton taking out the ref and thus, fell a bit short of setworthy. But Orton's NJ work has really raised my opinion of him overall.
June 14, 200916 yr comment_5440713 It did end abruptly....and my sense was it needed a really great post match brawl to make up for that. The post match brawl did have a little too much Orton doing Lisa Simpson windmill punching but I think the "W*ING arena tour " with the wall bump evens it all out.
August 12, 200916 yr comment_5442719 I love Fujinami but the quick ending left a bad taste in my throat. The post-match brawl was fun but not Moondgs-Fabs fun. I could see this one being left off this but put on a Bob Orton comp.
