A really good match that represents the best in NJ style juniors. It even has the aimless matwork thrown in occasionally to drive Phil batty. Thankfully, it was kept to a minimum here. If there is only one Black Tiger match on the set, this can be it. I know he may appear in some tags but if there are any borderline BT matches, lets drop them and hold on to this one. Seiji Sakaguchi & Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Perro Aguayo & Bad News Allen - Perro was really good in this. Getting caught off guard, interacting with the fans, proving that good heel mannerisms have no language barrier. Perro vs. both guys was pretty great while Bad News was actively bad. If Perro would have had a stronger partner, I could see this being a nomination. If Perro vs. Fujinami happens to be a singles match-up somewhere, I could see throwing that on the set. Hulk Hogan vs. Abdullah the Butcher - Hogan lifting Abby in the bearhug is a pretty amazing feat visually. Thankfully, they take this outside so the match can heat up. A little awkward as Hogan keeps whipping Abby into the ropes and doesn’t seem to know what to do with him. The splash onto the legs looked awkward as well since Abby doesn’t really get his knees up but Hogan sells it like death. This is one of those matches where the crowd makes the match better. Good thing I am not watching this at school. Once Hogan starts bleeding this thing really gets good with Abby attacking the cut and Hogan fighting for his life. I mean fuck, Hogan biting Abby’s ear? I am glad this match popped up because I have been waiting for Abby to show that violent streak we see form him elsewhere. This goes on the set but I could see it ending up as #150.
