Posted June 15, 200916 yr comment_5440747 Antonio Inoki & Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Strong Machine #1 & Strong Machine #2 (11/30/84) - I really love the way this one started out. No one was trying to work holds or roll around on the mat. Just good old fashioned double teaming and pounding each other. Then Inoki & Fujinami start stretching the leg Anderson style which is ok with me. Great spot as a Machine escapes the leg work with an enziguiri but has the common sense to roll Fujinami over to his corner with him. Really solid good mid level tag with Inoki and Fujinami working body parts and the Machines bringing the cool double teams such as the sweet guillotine leg drop. Nomination. NJ Classics 177
June 15, 200916 yr comment_5440754 I don't remember the specifics of this match but apparently, I wasn't feeling it .... Well, at least this chapter in the crappy rivalry had a clean finish. The Machines couldn't get themselves over as real threats to Inoki and that robbed these matches of any dramatic tension.
August 17, 200916 yr comment_5442892 This was fine, although there was some stuff that bugged me, the Machines did their sweet legdrop double team, and then smack on a chinlock. I also didn't like the 3 count kick out on the finish. Had a bunch of heat, but this isn't a disc selection.
