This is one of those matches that won’t get nominated because it feels more like an exhibition but I enjoy watching it. Fujiwara wins with a roll-up. 10/7/88 El Canek/Perro Aguayo vs. Shiro Koshinaka/Keiichi Yamada (Sky A 109) - This was fun but I think I liked the Villano 3 match much more and Perro Aguayo has had better performances in New Japan. Same with Yamada. He is at his best getting his ass kicked but there are better ass-whippings that will pop up on the set. This is one of those matches where everything was done well but it was also done better in other places. Don’t remember seeing Canek yet in NJ. Maybe there aren’t any better Canek performances. I really enjoy the Perro-Yamada pairing however. Are there any singles matches between the two? 10/7/88 Riki Choshu/Masa Saito vs. Steve Williams/Steve Casey (Sky A 110) - Just a tag match.
