Posted June 17, 200916 yr comment_5440802 Episode #268 12/15/97 10/19/87 Nobuhiko Takada/Shiro Koshinaka vs. Strong Machine/Hiro Saito - This wasn’t anything special. I think the biggest problem I had with this match is that you could sub any 4 guys in there and they would have the same match and it wouldn’t matter. No one brought any personality to this thing. I had no problem watching this match but I wouldn’t want to see it again. 10/19/87 Steve Williams vs. Keiji Mutoh - This wasn’t horrible like some of the Dr. Death matches I have seen in NJ. It wasn’t great but I didn’t mind. 10/19/87 Antonio Inoki/Keiichi Yamada vs. Riki Choshu/Tatsumi Fujinami - Three of these guys have been my favorites on the set. Inoki doesn’t waste anytime going on the attack right away. This is the Inoki I like. Kind of weird to see Inoki play FIP especially when Yamada is his partner. WTF? Chochu and Fujinami break up and I am in shock. I wasn’t expecting a tag team partner angle.
