Posted June 17, 200916 yr comment_5440832 Londos is a guy I hadn’t heard of before, I assume he is British, as there is some WOS style in what he does, but he is more Regal then Saint as he is pretty nasty too. Lots of nifty counters by both guys, it doesn’t get into epic territory, but I am going to throw this on the block, fun match from a discovery. Ginnety disc #12
June 24, 200916 yr comment_5441093 Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Tony Londos (9/19/80) - Londos and Fujinami kept the work fresh in the early minutes, even mixing in the knuckle lock sequence I mark out for. Really like Fujinami’s displays of strength lifting Londos twice. I think I like that Londos wasn’t as graceful as Roberts and was more than willing to crack Fujinami in the jaw with a forearm in order to break the body scissors. The ending was better on the Roberts match but I enjoyed this match more overall. I’ll endorse a nomination.
July 13, 200916 yr comment_5441896 The opening mat stuff was sweet. It didn't ever build the intensity of the high-end juniors stuff, but I'm all for including otherwise unknown standouts, and Londos fits the bill. Yes.
