Posted June 18, 200916 yr comment_5440857 Really fun juniors tag, I was loving the Fujinami v. Hoshino exchange, and Choshu’s amateur stuff is really good. Hot finish too This wasn’t a blow away match, but I am going to nominate it Ginnety #13
June 24, 200916 yr comment_5441100 Tatsumi Fujinami & Kengo Kimura vs. Hoshino & Choshu (12/5/80) - Eally nice warming up section. It looked like Fujinami/Kimura and Hoshino were on different pages when they tried to speed it up. They covered for it nicely but you could tell on the criss cross that the senton was a cover after Kimura thought he was going for a monkey flip. Then Fujinami going up on top after the sunset flip looked awkward. Nothing negative, just awkward. Man, I was not excited about that stretch run at all. Seriously, it just looked like everyone was off. Nothing was botched save for the final roll-up (which just looked sloppy) but it just seems like the target was always a step to the side so nothing looked very crisp. I am going to go no on this one.
July 15, 200916 yr comment_5441993 I didn't take it as awkward so much as they seemed to be flying around with real abandon. I'm on the fence with this one. It certainly kept me engaged, and I dug the old school Choshu-Fujinami. But it just kind of ended without a whole lot of drama. I don't think it will end up on the set, so I might as well lean no.
