June 24, 200916 yr comment_5441094 Pete Roberts vs. Tatsumi Fujinami (8/29/80) - I think I like Pete Roberts better in a tag setting. This was fun to watch, and I probably wouldn’t object to it making the set but it isn’t really high end work. It pales in comparison to DK-Fujinami, the 1/80 tag and to most of the late 80s junior stuff I have seen. This really felt more like an exhibition than a competition. I never got the vibe that either guy was trying to win the match. I think the other Roberts’ matches I have seen made more of an impression and he was sort of vanilla here. No vote.
